| Description
| The player flyable helicopter is being completely renewed. In fact, it has been remade from scratch with a much better input and physics system. Network traffic has been strongly reduced. Players now ride the helicopter properly in the seats. The rocket pods have been removed to make room for M249 machineguns on either side.
In Modern Warfare 2, you can enter and exit the helicopter via 4 ropes. The helicopter doesn't have to hover or land. You may also stay on the ropes during flight, but hold tight as they swing violently!
The helicopter can carry 1 pilot, 2 gunners and 4 passengers inside, plus any number of additional passengers on ropes. | | Screenshots | | | Developer | jv_map | | Status |

| Description
| A new upcoming map in Modern Warfare 2 is the Sewer system. In this map you will face to an underground battle as sewers are very useful for modern warfare. You will have to move through small dirty tunnels or pipes and don't be suprised if you have to crawl in drainwater full of rats. It's important to have control on them and keep them clear against your enemies.
This map will have a TDM and an OBJ gamemode. In the objective gamemode, the NATO team has to prevent that the terrorists blow the sewer system full with gas. If the NATO fails, there will be an enormous disaster with lots of killed innocent people by gas poisoning above ground. | | Screenshots | | | Developer | At0miC | | Status |

| Realistic player movement | | Description
| In order to foster the tactical aspect of gameplay, we are going deeper into the game mechanics than most mods usually do. Modern Warfare 2 is going to have the player movement tweaked to be more realistic. This means that your character will e.g. be getting tired as a result of running and jumping around, which in turn affects the agility and speed.
The thing players will notice first is the stamina bar next to the health meter. It will start decreasing as you move around, and then fill itself up when you walk or stand still.
All right, men! You can move at 4 different speeds:
- sprint - definitely the fastest way to move around. The drawback is that you are unable to use your weapon while running, and you get tired quickly.
- running - think jogging. Not as fast as sprint, but you still can shoot your gun instead of just waving it. You still have to show some fitness, but soldiers can stand much more! Is that right?
- lingering - that's just a little faster than walking. Happnes when you run and hop around more than your body can stand.
- walking - if you want to be sneaky, walk. It'll be one of the few occasions you will be able to rest on.
And remember, do not exert yourself, use every occasion to rest a little. When your stamina drops to a critical level, it takes much longer to recover, and an immobile soldier is a useless soldier! | | Developer | IneQuation | | Status |

| Description
| Commonly called flashbangs due to the sudden, blinding flash of light and a deafening blast they produce, these hand-held projectiles were designed to confuse, disorient and distract the enemy. Their presence considerably adds to the tactical aspect of combat. When used correctly, they can render the affected personnel virtually unable to fight for a time long enough to provide safe passages through areas where troops would otherwise be exposed to heavy fire, or turn the tide of the battle and let an outnumbered squad dominate a stronger enemy.
This feature utilizes a new technique which makes it unbypassable (i.e. cheaters will not be able to remove the flash). | | Developers | jv_map, E3D and IneQuation | | Status |

| We will include a couple of maps which will have a night-time setting. With them in mind, we're developing a set of features to recreate a realistic atmosphere of night:
- no ambient light in maps - when we say night, we mean it! it will be pitch black in the shadows,
- night vision goggles - this little piece of equipment provides clear, although monochrome, vision in the dark; it is battery-powered, therefore its usage is limited in time,
- HDRR simulation - well, sort of, more of an eye adaptation to darkness thing; the longer you stay in the dark, the more used to it your eyes become and you can see more.
Screenshot of map featured is with ambientlight so u can see its make up finished map will be alot darker! | | Screenshots | | | Developers | IneQuation and judge817 | | Status |
